Sourgum?

Wednesday, October 15th, 2008

It’s amazing what is being used for building materials these days. Sourgum is a plant like sugar cane that is used to make sugar. In the past, the stalks were thrown away. Because of the recent interest in renewable resources, these stalks are now being pressed together into a type of plywood that is every bit as durable and frankly more beautiful than the traditional plywood. the glue that holds it all together is without fumes or toxins and is eco-friendly!
