The Saratoga racing season starts this coming Wednesday and goes until the first week in September. If you haven’t been before, I highly recommend it for a day of fun. It’s not about the betting…that is fun but not required. It’s the horses, the people and the atmosphere that make it fun. In ten races, I may only wager 5 or 6 and only $2 bets.
The horses are beautiful! I have had the chance to be in the backstretch area doing energy clearing for the horses and riders and really began to appreciate their beauty and intelligence.
Dress up or dress down, but come for the flavor of Saratoga at it’s best!

I have only run my AC a couple of times this year…so much rain! I have the best crop of weeds in the neighborhood. You know what comes next…A long dry spell probably. Let’s decide not to complain. We have lower electric bills and you can’t mow in the rain.
Go to a movie or a museum, take a train ride, get a massage, or go fishing. I’ve always heard that fish bite when it rains!
